What we do here

At Fractaltrail the focus is clean takes and mixes that translate outside the studio. Singers, producers, podcasters and bands work with dedicated engineers on vocal recording, stereo mixing, mastering or a podcast table setup.

We work by appointment Tue–Sat 10:00–22:00. Describe your project via contact or phone; within 2 working days we send a date and price proposal. After agreement and deposit your slot is confirmed.

From enquiry to session

  1. Enquiry

    Form, [email protected] or 020 737 0294: share genre, track count and preferred dates.

  2. Quote

    Within 2 working days: slot, duration and total incl. VAT in writing.

  3. Confirmation

    After acceptance you pay a 30 % deposit; the balance follows our terms.

  4. Session and archive

    You leave with agreed files; raw sessions are kept 24 months.

Overtoom studio since 2018

The live room (45 m²) fits a small band; each booth (12 m²) keeps vocals dry without a boxy sound. Up to 6 people at once, each with a headphone mix.

Process

Recording studio in Amsterdam-West: vocals, stereo mix, mastering and podcast. Three rooms, published rates, Monday closed except pick-ups by appointment. Tue–Sat 10:00–22:00.

Rates incl. 21 % VAT

Examples: vocal hour €98, podcast half-day €399, mastering per track €125. Full table on services.

How fast do you reply to an enquiry?

Within 2 working days with date, duration and price. If you hear nothing, call 020 737 0294.

What does a vocal hour cost?

The hourly rate is €98 incl. VAT with engineer and booth. A four-hour block is €349.

How many revisions on mix and master?

2 feedback rounds are included; extra mix revision time is €88 per hour.

Do you keep my session files?

Yes, for 24 months on our systems. After that we delete them; keep your own backups.

Can I cancel for free?

Up to 7 days before the session at no charge. Later rules apply — see our terms.
