Skip the echoey meeting room: you sit at a round table with broadcast arms, headphone mixes and an engineer who watches levels while you focus on the conversation.
Podcast recording is for creators, brands and editorial teams who want to record two to four voices at once — interview, panel or co-host setup. Yusuf El Amrani handles tracking and basic edit in our podcast room at Overtoom 376A, a short walk from the Overtoom tram stop.
Hourly and half-day rates include engineer, microphones, monitoring and a first edit pass: trim dead air, drop obvious false starts, one coherent mono or stereo mix per session. Heavy sound design, custom jingles or deep noise reduction sit outside scope; we say that upfront.
Process
Brief
Via contact send format, target length, speaker count and delivery date. We confirm within 2 business days and hold calendar time.
Setup
Fifteen minutes before start: mic height, pop filters, headphone mixes so everyone hears self and others. Remote guests on a clean line or your own tool — agreed in advance.
Recording
We track multitrack for future edits. The engineer flags false starts; you set the pace for pauses and retakes.
Basic edit and export
After the session we trim and assemble a first cut. The half-day rate includes export; hourly bookings either include edit time in the block or we schedule it explicitly.
Formats we fit
Interview shows, internal knowledge podcasts, brand storytelling, limited runs for a launch — as long as speech leads and up to four people sit at the table, the room works. Video podcasts are fine if you bring camera crew; we deliver sync-ready audio.
We do not run full live streaming to platforms as a turnkey service; we can feed a clean mix from the desk for your streamer. Music intros or sung hooks alongside talk sometimes pair with a separate Vocal recording block.
Room and gear
The podcast table sits in a treated space inside the studio — not office lighting, but panels and carpet so voices stay dry without sounding lifeless. Dynamics and condensers on arms; per-seat headphone mixes.
Building capacity is up to 6 people, but we cap the table at four speakers for clarity. Larger groups mean rotation or a second session. The site has 3 rooms since 2018; podcast shares workflow with mastering and spoken projects on the same corridor.
What to bring
Bring:
- Outline or question list (digital is fine)
- Water for speakers; we provide cups
- Logo or naming only if you want it in metadata — no mandatory brand kit
- Intro/outro WAV files if you want them in the edit
Music rights, guest releases and sponsor disclaimers stay with you as producer; our guide rights and release outlines checks before publish. Minimum age on site is 16; younger guests only with a parent or guardian present.
Basic edit — in and out of scope
Included: trimming long silences, removing clear false starts, one continuous mix for review, sensible level without faking platform-max loudness.
Not default: hour-long per-speaker polish, underscoring, heavy de-noise, chapter marks for every host spec, translation or transcription. We quote hourly or refer partners; see FAQ and contact for custom work.
Delivery formats
After edit you typically receive:
- WAV 24-bit / 48 kHz of the mixed episode
- MP3 192–320 kbps for quick host upload
- Optional raw multitrack ZIP on request (larger files, same archive window)
Platform-specific LUFS targets for Spotify or Apple Podcasts are custom — many hosts normalize anyway. For music releases alongside your show see delivery formats for streaming.

Opening hours: Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–22:00; closed Mondays (pick-up by appointment). Tram 1 and 7 stop Overtoom (Hoofddorpweg), 3 minutes’ walk to Overtoom 376A. Bike parking in front; on-street parking with permit or Q-Park Baarsjes 600 m away. — many Amsterdam teams arrive by bike.
Book popular evening slots at least two weeks ahead. Last-minute sessions sometimes fit if the diary allows — call 020 737 0294.
Archive and privacy
Sessions stay on secure storage for 24 months, then delete unless you buy an extension. We do not promote your show publicly without written OK.

FAQ
How long to record one episode?
For an hour of finished audio, plan roughly two to three studio hours including setup and short breaks. A half-day suits several short episodes or one long interview.
Can a guest join remotely?
Yes, via a separate line or platform you choose; we record clean locally and align the remote feed as tightly as the connection allows. Test before the session.
Do you provide transcripts?
Not by default. We can hand off lossless audio to a transcription service, or quote manual edit time separately.
Can I bring my own mics?
Prefer ours unless there is a technical reason — the house set is maintained for the room. Discuss ahead via email.
Is parking available?
On-street with permit or Q-Park Baarsjes 600 m away; many teams take tram 1/7 or bike. Directions on contact.
Who owns the recording?
You remain responsible for content; we provide a service. Music, brands or clips you mention must be cleared — read rights and release before publish.
